Terms of use

By using thecommonrise.com and/or subscribing to design services provided by Common Rise Creative Solutions LLC (“we,” “our,” or “Contractor”), you (“you,” “Client,” or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, as well as our Privacy Policy and Subscription Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms & Use of Our Services

You agree to use our website and services for lawful purposes only. Prohibited behaviors include:

  • Violating any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringing intellectual property rights
  • Distributing viruses, malware, or engaging in other harmful conduct
    Noncompliance may result in termination of access or services.

2. Subscription Plans & Billing

Our subscription design services include:

  • Advisor – 2 hours/month – $155
  • Strategist – 5 hours/month – $375
  • Partner – 10 hours/month – $700

Unused time does not roll over. Subscriptions are billed monthly and auto-renew unless canceled at least 7 days before renewal. All fees are final unless otherwise stated.

3. Additional Hourly & Rush Rates

  • Additional hours beyond your plan are billed at $80/hour.
  • Rush work (completion in under 7 business days) incurs an extra $50/hour, added to the hourly rate.

4. Turnaround Times

Standard project delivery is 7–10 business days. Timelines are estimated and may vary by project scope.

5. Client Hub & Proofing

Each subscriber is given a private hub page featuring:

  • Submission portal for company details and assets (via email or secure file drop)
  • Proofing section for reviewing and approving designs
  • A time tracker showing remaining hours

Revisions, edits, and proofing all use subscription hours.

6. Intellectual Property

Final design deliverables are owned by you once payment is complete. We may retain copies for our portfolio, backup, or promotion unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7. Donations

A portion of all subscription and project revenue is donated to a 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4) charity selected by you. Terms include:

  • Donations are processed every 6 months.
  • You must remain subscribed for the entire 6 months for donation to proceed.
  • If a chosen charity doesn’t qualify, you’ll have an opportunity to pick another.
  • Donations are made by us (not you), and may not be claimed by you for tax purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or services.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access at any time and for any reason, including breaches of these Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any disputes will be resolved in Michigan courts.

11. Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with the Privacy Policy and Subscription Terms, form the complete agreement between you and us regarding your use of the site and our services.
